Story Time around the fire! Kevin tells the best stories!
Well, it rained for the third 4th of July weekend in a row. We went camping again to enjoy the holiday and spent most of our time in the tent again. We laughed that at least we were together which was the whole reason for the trip in the first place. No projects staring at you, phone calls to make or errands to run. We actually had a great time. We went to Bowman State Park and spent Friday and Saturday night. Sunday was beautiful and if we were not so grimy we would have stayed at the beach for the day. I had gotten a foot injury on Friday morning as I was running into the post office. My foot was all bandaged up, so I didn't want to get into the oh-so-not clean camp showers with it. Needless to say, I felt yucky and sitting in the sand was not too appealing. We did stay for about an hour to give Cian a chance to play in the sand. It was a lot of fun just spending time with Kevin and Cian. Cian is starting to get into games. It was fun to play with him with out other distractions! We plan on doing more camping this summer...Hopefully we will be able to get out of the tent more!

Our 4th of July was hot! We enjoyed swimming in our pool! Camping is so much fun! Kevin does tell the best stories...I remember how animated he always was in the telling of the stories! I hope your foot heals!
I remember the stories that Kev used to tell the girls! He was always so animated! He is the best stroy teller!
